The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job prospects gender and education costs on students decisions in choosing the Accounting Education Study Program at the State University of Malang. The study population consisted of 483 active students from the 2019 ndash 2023 intake with a sample of 219 respondents obtained using a simple random sampling technique. The approach applied was quantitative with an explanatory method. Data were obtained from questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study explain that job prospects and education costs have a positive and significant influence on students decisions while gender has a negative and significant influence explaining that female students prefer this study program. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of these three factors in one analytical model that specifically focuses on the context of the Accounting Education study program which has rarely been studied simultaneously in previous studies. These findings have implications for educational institutions to design promotional strategies inclusive financing policies and curriculum development based on student needs and the demands of the workplace.
