Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions and experiences of accounting teachers related to the integration of ESD in accounting learning in Vocational High School. The research method used is qualitative method with phenomenological research type. Data were collected through semi structured interviews with six accounting teachers. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis. To ensure the validity of the data collected using source triangulation. The results showed that teachers interpreted ESD as a sustainable learning approach that is future oriented. The integration of ESD in learning is carried out by incorporating ESD concepts in learning materials according to the learning model conducted by the teacher. However the integration of ESD in learning faces several challenges such as the character of each learner the willingness of teachers in integrating ESD and limited learning time.
