The learning system will continue to undergo changes in line with the times such as learning today which is entering the era of digitalization. To create an effective learning environment that is digitally literate teachers need to have technological skills one of which is the skill of developing and using digital-based interactive learning media. Based on the results of a survey of PGSD UM batch 2020 students the most widely used digital application for designing and developing interactive learning media is the Canva application. However the survey also found that some students admitted that the learning media they developed was not yet able to engage students interactively. Therefore the researcher conducted a study entitled ldquo Portrait of PGSD UM Students Skills in Developing Interactive Learning Media based on Canva rdquo to capture the level of students skills in developing Canva-based interactive learning media and to describe their perceptions of the Canva application for developing interactive learning media. The approach used in this study is survey research. The subjects and population in this study are 292 students of PGSD UM Batch 2020. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 74 respondents. The research instruments used were in the form of a closed questionnaire of 15 statements distributed to the research sample through Google Form and a media assessment questionnaire of 14 statements filled out by researchers through Google Form. The results of this research analysis show that overall the skill level of PGSD UM students has a very skilled category and has a very good perception of the Canva application in developing interactive learning media. However the use of animation amp transition features and link features as well as the insertion of digital-based interactive activities needs to be improved so that the interactive media developed not only attracts and interactively students but also utilizes digital technology during learning. These results are expected to be a benchmark for academies in preparing prospective educators who are more literate in technology and digitalization of learning and for education students are expected to form self-awareness to learn and hone skills in developing digital-based interactive media with new technologies that continue to develop.
