Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning management is an innovative strategy to address the challenges of education in the digital era especially in improving the digital literacy of elementary school students. The application of AI serves not only as a learning medium but also as part of the school rsquo s managerial process in creating adaptive and personalized learning systems. SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang an elementary school located in a suburban area has implemented AI-based learning management as an effort to improve students rsquo digital literacy despite infrastructural limitations. This study aims to identify (1) the planning organizing implementation and evaluation processes in AI-based learning management at SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang (2) the indicators of success in AI-based learning for improving digital literacy (3) the role of parental support in AI-based learning management at SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang and (4) the obstacles and solutions in the management of AI-based learning to enhance students rsquo digital literacy. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research site was SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang located in the suburban area of Jl. Kolonel Sugiono Kebonsari Sukun District Malang City East Java. Data collection techniques included interviews observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction data display and conclusion drawing. The validity of the findings was ensured through triangulation and member checking techniques. The results of the study show that (1) The planning of AI-based learning was carried out collaboratively by the principal teachers and parents through the formulation of learning objectives selection of digital learning media and strengthening of teacher competencies. The organizing process involved the distribution of teacher roles the formation of a digital learning team and the involvement of parents. Implementation used various digital platforms such as Canva Google Classroom Quizizz and Zoom which were conducted routinely and in a structured manner. Evaluation was carried out through digital assessments learning monitoring and collaborative reflection between teachers and parents (2) Indicators of the success of AI-based learning include increased student skills in accessing and utilizing technology the ability to filter information and active participation in both online and in-person learning (3) Parental support played a significant role in accompanying children during digital learning providing devices and maintaining intensive communication with teachers (4) The main obstacles faced were the limited availability of devices and internet access as well as the unequal digital competence among teachers. Solutions implemented included the use of the school rsquo s computer lab teacher training rotational learning systems and optimization of BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds. Based on the findings of this research the following suggestions are proposed (1) The principal of SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang is expected to continuously develop technology-based learning policies and ensure equitable digital access for all students (2) Teachers are advised to strengthen their digital competence through regular training and enhance their creativity in using AI media (3) Parents should remain actively involved in supporting and motivating their children during online learning and establish two-way communication with the school (4) Students are expected to maintain their independent learning spirit and use technology wisely and responsibly (5) Future researchers are encouraged to explore the integration of AI in learning at other educational levels or investigate further its impact on the development of students digital character.
