Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce a chemistry learning media product in the form of a digital module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using Flip PDF Professional on the topic of voltaic cells to assess the feasibility of the digital module and to measure the improvement in students creative thinking skills through the use of the digital module. The research employed a Research and Development (R amp D) approach using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages analysis design development implementation and evaluation. However this study was limited to the development stage. The instruments used were validation questionnaires and pretest-posttest items. The validation process involved three experts one lecturer from the Department of Chemistry Universitas Negeri Malang and two high school chemistry teachers from Malang Regency who served as content and media experts. The limited trial was conducted with 29 twelfth-grade students from a senior high school in Malang Regency. The results showed that the content media and test item validity scores were categorized as highly valid. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of media in the form of digital modules show that the product has high effectiveness in improving students creative thinking skills with an n-gain score and an effect size value in the high category.
