Abstract

p In mobile application development delivering high-quality images often faces performance challenges due to network limitations and device resource constraints. SwiftUI Apple rsquo s modern UI framework provides an efficient and declarative approach to UI development especially on image loading with its asynchronous image loader enabling developers to build responsive interfaces with minimal effort. However optimizing image loading remains a challenge especially under varying network conditions and across devices with different capabilities. To address this Adaptive Progressive Image Loader is introduced to dynamically adjust image loading based on contextual factors such as viewport position network speed and device capability. This approach enables images to load progressively under optimal conditions without overburdening system resources. The Adaptive Progressive Image Loader developed in this study significantly improves image delivery performance in SwiftUI-based mobile applications. By combining adaptive loading with progressive enhancement the technique ensures efficient delivery of visual content especially in constrained environments. Across all test scenarios the loader reduced Time to First Interaction (TTFI) and improved Load Time enhancing perceived responsiveness. Statistical analysis results also further confirmed the significance of these improvements. /p
