p The increasing number of tourists visiting Yogyakarta each year highlights the need for a more comprehensive understanding of visitation patterns to support optimal tourism management. This study developed a web-based application to cluster tourist destinations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) based on the number of tourist visits using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) method with four types of linkage Single Complete Average and Ward. The performance of each method was evaluated using the Silhouette Coefficient value. The results show that although Single Linkage produced high Silhouette values in several areas it is not recommended due to its tendency to create unbalanced clusters and its sensitivity to outliers. Therefore the Complete and Average Linkage methods were selected for their more stable results. The Silhouette Coefficient values for each regency/city are as follows Bantul (0 7218) Sleman (0 6814) Kulon Progo (0 8273) Kota Yogyakarta (0 6867) dan Gunung Kidul (0 7204). The clustering results are visualized through the developed web application which is expected to serve as a strategic reference for travel agencies and local governments in formulating tourism development policies in Yogyakarta. /p
