This study aims to investigate the learning methods of current Gen Z students especially Gen Z students at the high school level and their expectations of classroom learning methods. This study is qualitative as the data were collected and analyzed in the form of words and descriptions. The incidental sampling technique is used in this study to determine samples based on coincidence. The four questions described by Messineo et al. (2007) were used to determine the learning method expectations of Gen Z students. The findings show that the current learning method in schools is the teacher-centered method and focuses on the interaction between teacher and student. Then the learning methods that are expected by Gen Z students are student-centered learning instructional strategies that center on the interaction between the teacher and the student and teacher-centered methods. In addition Gen Z is also in favor of using technology in the classroom.
