The procedure of the research consisted of four main steps planning implementation observation and reflection. To collect the data the researcher used observation checklists and field notes as instruments. The drama procedures implemented by the researcher in this study consisted of 7 steps (1) Immersion in this step the teacher asks the students to reread the story (2) warming-up in this step the students are given the time to practice their fluency grammatical accuracy pronunciation vocabulary and facial expression (3) choosing critical moment in this step the teacher asks the students to choose the moment of the story which is possible to be performed (4) segmenting the situation in this step the students take role of the characters in the scene (5) dramatizing the scene this step is the main activity where the students perform the drama in front of their friends (6) giving side-coach is the time for the teacher to give suggestion related to the students performance and (7) doing reflection this is the time for the students to give their impression and input. The writer really hopes that the findings of the study can give practical contribution to another English teachers and future researchers. For the teachers the finding of this study is hopefully useful to enrich their technique to be applied in their classroom.
