Kata Kunci komite sekolah penyelenggaraan pendidikan peran komite sekolah Komite sekolah merupakan badan mandiri yang mewadahi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan mutu pemerataan dan efisiensi pengelolaan pendidikan di satuan pendidikan. Dengan adanya komite sekolah diharapkan peran serta masyarakat akan semakin sentral dalam pendidikan. Permasalahannya adalah komite sekolah belum dapat menjalankan perannya dengan baik akibatnya banyak persoalan pendidikan yang belum dapat diselesaikan sehingga kualitas pendidikan masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat peran komite sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) se Kecamatan Tambakrejo Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Peran komite sekolah tersebut meliputi peran sebagai pemberi pertimbangan pendukung pengontrol serta sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian berupa angka yang kemudian dianalisis dan dideskripsikan untuk mengetahui tingkat peran komite sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 36 SD dan 688 orang responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster sampling area kemudian untuk menentukan responden dari setiap sekolah digunakan teknik stratified random sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 17 SD dan 184 orang responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari 43 item pernyataan dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan rata-rata hitung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran komite sekolah sebagai pemberi pertimbangan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata hitung sebesar 34 49 peran komite sekolah dalam memberikan dukungan pada proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata hitung sebesar 23 27 peran komite sekolah sebagai pengontrol pada proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata hitung sebesar 36 06 dan peran komite sekolah sebagai mediator berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata hitung sebesar 30 98. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu peran komite sekolah dalam memberi pertimbangan pendukung pengontrol dan sebagai mediator dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan semuanya berapa pada kategori tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan komite sekolah dapat mempertahankan perannya dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan kepala sekolah dan guru harus lebih aktif melibatkan komite sekolah agar komite sekolah dapat memberikan masukan dan sumbangan pemikiran dalam proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. The school committee is an independent body that embodies the community in improving the quality equity and efficiency of education management in the education unit. With the school committee is expected of public participation will be central in education. The problem a that school committees are not able to function well as a result many problems in education that can not be resolved so that the quality of education is low. This study aims to determine the level of caretaker role of the school committee in providing education in elementary school (SD) in Tambakrejo District of Bojonegoro. The role of the school board committees include the role as a conduit of consideration support controller and as a mediator. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design. Data in the study a number that was analyzed and described to determine the level of the school committee s role in education. The population in this study were 36 primary schools and 688 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using cluster sampling area and then to determine the respondents from each school used stratified random sampling technique in order to obtain a sample of 17 primary schools and 184 respondents. The data collection technique using a questionnaire consisting of 43 items of statements and analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with an average count. The results showed the role of the school committee officials as giving consideration at the high category with an average count of 34.49 the role of administrators in the school committee gave support to the process of education at the high category with an average count of 23.27 the role school committee board as a controller in the process of education at the high category with an average count of 36.06 and the role of the school committee board as a mediator at the high category with an average count of 30.98. The conclusion of this study is the role of administrators in the school committee to give consideration support controller and as a mediator in education everything is how the high category. From the results of these studies are expected school committee can maintain its role in the provision of education principals and teachers need to be more active to involve the school committee that the school committee to provide input and contributions to the process of education.
