As one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy MSMEs have a significant role in maintaining the stability of the Indonesian economy. However Indonesia s corruption perception index still ranks 96th out of 180 countries from data taken from transparency international. Unresolved corruption can worsen the economic situation in Indonesia. However several previous articles have said that corruption does not worsen the economic situation but on the contrary helps the economy to progress. With a close relationship with MSMEs and the Indonesian economy the finding in this article showed that corruption does worsen the SME GDP output in Indonesia and corruption also worsen the growth of GDP in Indonesia.
