The rapid growth of the financial technology industry has revolutionized the investment landscape with investment apps like Bibit gaining popularity for their easy access to financial markets and diverse investment products. Understanding the factors that influence individuals investment intentions such as investment knowledge and motivation is crucial in this evolving landscape. However real-world scenarios often witness the bandwagon effect influencing investment decisions leading to significant long-term consequences for personal finances. This study aims to identify investment intentions moderated by the bandwagon effect employing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) research method. Data was collected through questionnaires utilizing the Likert scale from a sample of 102 respondents. The study s findings reveal that the bandwagon effect does not significantly influence investment intentions as a moderating variable due to the respondents characteristics demonstrating resistance to be influenced by investment trends.
