Abstract

The need for autonomous learning in English imposes English teacher educators to design and implement teaching strategies and methods that can successfully improve the effective learning of students. English teacher educators must therefore first provide learners with adequate tools and opportunities to take responsibility for their learning. So exploring autonomous learning processes and qualities from the educator s point of view may provide advanced understanding empiric evidence and information of the evolution of education moreover in Indonesia which learners have reactive autonomy attributes. Hence investigating ETEs rsquo role in the development of autonomous learning in a classroom with learners who have reactive autonomy attributes is vital to enhance and manage educational processes besides knowing the evaluation of education occurred especially in Riau province.
