For each prime p the set Zp 0 1 2 p-1 with addition modulo p and multiplication modulo p has structure of field. The order of field Zp is p. Because of that field Zp is a Galois field of order p. So for each positive integer n there is a finite field of order pn and call it the Galois field of order pn denoted by GF(pn). In this skripsi we will present additive and multiplicative structure of Galois field and then subfield of Galois field. The additive structure of Galois field GF(pn) isomorphic to and multiplicative structure of Galois field GF(pn) isomorphic to . The subfield of GF(pn) has pm order for some divisor m of n.
