Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmendeskripsikan 1) persiapanpembelajaran 2) pelaksanaanpembelajaran 3) hasilpembelajaran batik di kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Barat. Jenispenelitian yang digunakanadalahpenelitiandeskriptifkualitatif.Objekpenelitianadalahpembelajaran batik yang dilakukan di kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Barat. Pengumpulan data diperolehdariobservasi wawancara dokumentasi dancatatanlapangan.Instrumenpenelitian yang digunaakanberupapedomanobservasi pedomanwawancara pedomandokumentasidanpedomancatatanlapangan.Penentuanvaliditaskeabsahan data menggunakanperpanjanganpengamatan peningkatanketekunandalampengamatan dantriangulasi.Penelitianini dianalisissecaradeskriptifdenganmereduksi data penyajian data danpenarikankesimpulan. Hasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwa (1) persiapanpembelajaran yang dibuat guru sudahbaikyaitumembuat RPP secaralengkap silabus dan media pembelajaran batik. (2) pelaksanaanpembelajaran batik olehguru sudahbaik. Kegiatanpendahuluan yang dilakukanmeliputisalam doa orientasi persepsi motivasidanpemberianacuan. Kegiatanintimeliputieksplorasi elaborasi dankonfirmasi.Pelaksanaan pembelajaran meliputi kegiatan membuat desain termasuk membuat produk hingga mempresentasikan hasil karya. (3) hasilpembelajaranmeliputikognitif afektif danpsikomotor. Hasil belajar kognitif mampu menambah wawasan siswa secara teori mengenai batik.Hasil belajar afektif pada pembelajaran batik aspek kreativitas membuat desain mampu menumbuhkan kreativitas ide aspek mencanting pada pembelajaran batik lukis menumbuhkan ketelatenan aspek pewarnaan mampu membentuk kepekaan estetiknya aspek penilaian finishing atau hasil akhir karya menumbuhkan keterampilan siswa mengolah karya. Hasil belajar psikomotor pada aspek kreativitas desain mencanting pewarnaan dan hasil akhir menumbuhkan keterampilan tangan dalam berkreasimenghasilkan karya. ABSTRACT Mayang Martantia. 2017. Keywords Batik learning Culture and the arts subject Batik is one of culture inheritances which should be conserved so thatthe culture and the arts subject bring batik into one of competencies to be taught. Batik learning activity in SMPN 1 Barat not only learned about theory but also there is a practiceto make batik directly in order to increase student ability. The teacheralso asked student to know more about the peculiar batik especially in KabupatenMagetan named Batik PringSedapur. The aims of this researchare described into 1) learning preparations 2) learning implementation 3) the result of batik learning at second grade A class SMPN 1 Barat. This research adopts qualitative descriptive approach. Batik learning is the object of the research which was implemented at secondgrade A class SMPN 1 Barat.Data assembling were gathered from observation interview documentation and field scripts. The instrumentswhich were used in this research wereobservation interview documentation and field scripts guidance. The validity was determined by usingprolongation observation increasing the diligence of observation and triangulation. The analysis was implemented in descriptive by reducing data presenting data and determining the conclusion. The results of this research show that (1) the teacher has been already made some learning preparations such as RPP completely also syllabus and learning media in the appropriate way.(2)the learning implementation has been done properly as well. The introduction activity consists of exploration elaboration and conformation. The implementation of learning includes making the design making the product up to present the work. (3) learning results consist of cognitive affective and psychomotor assessment outcome.Kognitive study result has been able to decrease students insight about batik theoritically. Affective study result has been able to increase the creativity of idea in desain making of creativity aspect of batik learning create the sensivity of students aesthethics in coloring aspect and increase students skills to process their works in finishing assessment (attainment) aspect. Psychomotor study result has been able to increase hand skill in design cretivity painting by using canting and attainment aspects while students created their works.
