Anak merupakan bagian dari generasi muda sebagai salah satu sumber daya manusia yang merupakan potensi dan penerus cita-cita perjuangan bangsa. Namun sering kali anak dapat mengalami gangguan dalam proses perkembangannya salah satunya. Autistik adalah sebuah gangguan perkembangan sistem syaraf pusat yang ditemukan pada sejumlah anak ketika masa kanak-kanak hingga masa-masa sesudahnya yang membuat anak-anak tidak mampu menjalin hubungan sosial secara normal bahkan tidak mampu untuk menjalin komunikasi dua arah baik bahasa reseptif maupun ekspresif. Yang lebih terlihat yakni bahasa ekspresif anak autistik hal ini terlihat ketika anak menginginkan sesuatu mereka langsung menarik tangan orang disekitarnya untuk menunjukkan sesuatu yang diinginkan. Terapi yang digunakan yaitu Applied Behavior Analysis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi Applied Behavior Analysis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif pada anak autistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen one-grup pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen pengumpulan data dan instrumen perlakuan yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi kemampuan bahasa ekspresif dan instrumen perlakuan berupa panduan terapi Applied Behavior Analysis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 7-9 tahun yang sedang melakukan terapi dengan jumlah 3 subjek yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan bahasa ekspresif rendah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik analisis statistik paired-sample t-test. Hasil analisis perhitungan uji hipotesis diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terapi Applied Bevaior Analysis efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif pada anak autistik. Bagi terapis A Plus sebaiknya pemberian terapi Applied Behavior Analysis dilaksanakan setiap hari sehingga tidak dicampur adukkan dengan terapi yang lain. Bagi orang tua sebaiknya menerapkan terapi Applied Behavior Analysis di rumah dan memberikan imbalan yang konsisten antara di tempat terapi dan di rumah. 8195 ABSTRACT Agustina Sri Widya. 2017. The Child as one of human resources who is a potensial generation to continue the dreams of nation is the young generation. But the children often get some problems such as autistic one of the children problems. The autistic is a disturbance of the growth system of the main nerve found in the number of young children up to after growing up that making the children cannot be able to socialize normally moreover be able to communicate two-way both resptive and expressive language. The more looked is the expressive language of the austistic child seen when the child wants to something they pull the human around directly to point the wanted things. Therapy used is Applied Behavior Analysis. This research is done for knowing the efektiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to improve the expressive language ability of the autistic child. This research uses the experimental research one-grup pretest-posttest design. The used instrument is the data collection and treatment instrument developed by the researcher. The data collection instruments are the orientations of the expressive language ability observation and the treatment of the Applied Behavior Analysis. The subjects of this research are three children 7-9 years old doing therapy who have 3 subject the low expressive language ability. The analysis method of the data used in this research utilizes the statistic paired-sample t-test technique. The calculation result of the hypotheses experiment is known by significance 0.001. It shows that the hypotheses of this research is accepted It can be concluded that the Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy is effective to improve the expressive language ability of the autistic child. For therapist A Plus should give therapy Applied Behavior Analysis carried out every day so it is not mixed with other therapies. For parents it is better to apply home-based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and provide a consistent reward between in therapy and at home.
