Abstract

p This study aims to analyze the soft skills required by the job market in the field of accounting (financial accounting tax accounting management accounting and internal auditing) based on a content analysis of job advertisements. A total of 970 job advertisements in Indonesia were analyzed in this study. The soft skills framework is categorized into four groups interpersonal amp communication skills intellectual skills personal skills and organizational skills. The data collected were tested using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test. The results show that there are no significant differences in soft skills requirements across the four accounting fields and the most frequently sought-after soft skills are interpersonal amp communication skills. These findings are expected to provide insights into current labor market trends for accounting graduates and serve as a reference for preparing relevant soft skills in alignment with market demands. /p
