The Watugede Bathing Place tourist destination has a high cultural value as a legacy from the Singosari kingdom especially the bathing place of the king s daughter. This provides a special attraction for tourists who are interested in historical and cultural tourism. This research is descriptive in nature with the aim of analyzing the development strategy for historical tourism at Watugede Bathing Place using SWOT and QSPM analysis. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach a research approach used to describe or explain existing phenomena using numerical data and statistical analysis and using purposive sampling to determine the sample then the collected data is analyzed using the SWOT matrix and QSPM matrix as decision making and supported by the IFE matrix EFE matrix and IE matrix. The results of this study indicate that the IFE matrix is 2 953 and the EFE matrix is 3 219. So that the IE matrix is formed in quadrant II which shows that the Watugede Bathing Place tourist destination is in a positive balance condition. Therefore the recommended strategy in this position is a grow and build. In accordance with the results of the SWOT matrix and QSPM matrix the alternative strategy that is prioritized for the Watugede Petirtaan tourism is to strengthen digital promotion through active social media to attract tourists and highlight the uniqueness of the water source and local cultural values with a TAS score of 6.264.
