The Leang-Leong tradition is a tradition in Arjowilangun Village Malang Regency namely the procession of bridal statues carried out from generation to generation which contains many character values in it. The purpose of this research is to find out the procedure for implementing the Leang-Leong Tradition in Arjowilangun Village and to analyze the character values contained in the Leang-Leong Tradition in Arjowilangun Village Kalipare District Malang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data analysis used the theory of symbolic interactionism and used the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results showed that the process of implementing the Leang-Leong Tradition was divided into three stages first the preparation stage second the implementation stage third the closing stage. The character values in the Leang-Leong Tradition include the values of mutual cooperation solidarity religion hard work and persistence.
