This research aimed to identify the prevalent types of assessments used by teachers at the Senior High School (SMA) level in Batu City. The study focused on three public schools SMA Negeri 1 Batu SMA Negeri 2 Batu and SMA Negeri 3 Batu. A mixed-method approach combining both quantitative and qualitative methods was employed through a survey technique to provide a comprehensive overview of assessment practices implemented during the teaching and learning process. The primary instrument used was an analysis rubric applied to classroom assessment implementation videos. The data collected were analyzed using percentage calculations to determine the most commonly used types of assessments. The participants included seven Physical Education Sports and Health (Physical Education) teachers most of whom taught two classes mdash except for one teacher who handled only one class mdash resulting in a total of 13 classes involved in the study. Additionally three students were interviewed based on the assessment indicators provided by their teachers. The results showed that the majority of teachers in Batu City s senior high schools predominantly applied assessment of learning and for learning with a 100% implementation rate. However only 14.29% of the teachers used a combination of all three assessment types simultaneously assessment of learning assessment for learning and assessment as learning.
