Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of teachers selection of assessment methodology on the success of PJOK learning at SDN Ngaglik Batu City. The background of this study is based on a common problem related to the understanding and application of assessment that is still less than optimal in the elementary school environment which has an impact on the effectiveness of learning. This study compares three main assessment methodologies namely assessment of learning assessment for learning and assessment as learning each of which has different characteristics and objectives in supporting student learning. The research used a mixed method to obtain quantitative and qualitative data on the effectiveness of the implementation of the three methods in the PJOK classroom. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of the effectiveness of each method in improving students learning outcomes character and social skills. The findings are also expected to be a practical recommendation for teachers in choosing and implementing the most appropriate assessment method as well as a basis for schools to formulate policies and curriculum development for PJOK learning.
