Abstract

This research focuses on designing and developing a web programming learning website called Edmon using the achievement goals approach which categorizes students as overachiever mastery-expert best-performance or non-achiever based on the Achievement Goals Questionnaire-Revised (AGQ-R). This research using the design thinking method which involves five phases empathize define ideate prototype and test. Test subjects included Material and Media Experts as well as students from Software and Game development vocational class XI SMKN 12 Malang. The findings revealed that the validation of media and materials ranked high with the good category with a validation score of 92 50% for media and 92 00% for materials. The user trial showed a feasibility percentage of 73 71% which placed it in the good category. Furthermore the learning motivation test revealed an increase in student engagement with a post-questionare motivation score of 72 79% which was categorized as high motivation. The attention relevance confidence and satisfaction aspects all showed positive gains with relevance and satisfaction maintaining particularly high levels throughout. Overall the findings suggest that the web-based learning media is not only feasible but also highly effective for educational purposes. Its ability to offer engaging and adaptive learning experiences that enhance student motivation and participation underscores its potential to address the limitations of traditional uniform teaching methods thereby supporting a more personalized and impactful learning process within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum.
