Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting local economies particularly in cultural tourism areas. Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan in Malang City is a notable example of a heritage-based tourism area that encourages the growth of local culture-based MSMEs. Despite its development the growth of MSMEs in this area remains suboptimal. Several challenges persist including low innovation limited access to capital lack of digital technology utilization and insufficient business assistance. This study aims to map the profile of MSMEs in Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan and formulate sustainable development strategies through the integration of local cultural values. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed involving in-depth interviews participatory observation and documentation of MSMEs actors in the culinary handicraft and culture-based service sectors. The findings reveal that MSMEs actors have integrated local cultural elements such as colonial architecture traditional motifs and historical narratives into their products and services. However they still face challenges related to competitiveness innovation and business capacity. Recommended strategies for sustainable development include capacity-building through culture-based training digital marketing stakeholder collaboration and optimizing cultural narratives as tourism assets. This study highlights the importance of synergy between cultural preservation and local economic empowerment as the foundation for sustainable tourism. With appropriate strategies MSMEs in Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan can not only grow sustainably but also become a model for strengthening local cultural identity in heritage tourism areas.
