Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of perceived usefulness and ease of use on the intention to adopt AI. This study refers to the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. The subjects were 206 undergraduate students majoring in Accounting Education from the 2021-2024 batch at Malang State University. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. The results of the analysis indicate that the intention to adopt AI by accounting education students is influenced by individual perceptions of its usefulness and ease of use. The findings in this study are expected to contribute as material for consideration in the field of education to integrate AI into the learning curriculum with the aim that students can adapt to the rapid development of AI technology and utilize it in the learning process and in their future careers.
