Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of academic supervision and work discipline on teacher performance. The study uses a quantitative explanatory approach to test the causal relationship between the variables studied. This study used a population of all accounting teachers in Trenggalek. The population in this study consisted of 58 teachers. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire distributed using Google Forms then the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to determine the influence of each variable. The research findings indicate that academic supervision and work discipline have a positive influence on teacher performance. This means that teachers who receive optimal academic supervision and have a high level of work discipline tend to experience improved performance. Furthermore the results of further analysis revealed that the influence of work discipline on teacher performance is more dominant than academic supervision. Based on these results this study emphasizes the importance of efforts to improve academic supervision and work discipline to maximize teacher performance in the school environment.
