This study explores prospective accounting teacher students perceptions of their work readiness and work competence in facing the digital era and examines their influence on career mindfulness. The research method used is quantitative explanatory with final-year undergraduate Accounting Education students as the subjects. Data collected using questionnaires were then analyzed using multiple regression. The results found that students work readiness and work competence levels were quite high. This study also found that work readiness and work competence had a significant positive effect on career mindfulness in prospective accounting teachers.
