This study aims to determine the effect of adversity quotient gender internal locus of control and parental involvement on academic achievement. This study used a quantitative explanatory method with 274 Accounting students from the 2020-2022 intake as subjects. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. Primary data collection used a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale while secondary data student GPA was obtained from the Accounting Department. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results revealed that adversity quotient and internal locus of control had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement. Meanwhile gender and parental involvement had no effect on academic achievement. Adversity quotient gender internal locus of control and parental involvement had a 36.3% effect on academic achievement. The higher the level of adversity quotient and internal locus of control the higher the academic achievement. Therefore students must improve their adversity quotient and internal locus of control to improve their academic achievement.
