In the digital era Spotify a popular music platform can be utilised as a tool for vocabulary learning. This study specifically focused on vocabulary learning through English songs on Spotify and aimed to describe EFL students rsquo perceptions of its use as a learning medium. This study applied a quantitative method using a survey design. It was conducted in one of the public senior high schools in Malang consisting of 143 participants. The findings indicated that students perceived the use of English songs on Spotify positively as it provides an accessible flexible and effective tool for learning vocabulary. Moreover it was found to support vocabulary acquisition word comprehension retention learning motivation and even other English skills. Future researchers are recommended to conduct interviews or observations to gain deeper insights into students rsquo perceptions. Overall the findings suggest that English teachers could integrate Spotify into vocabulary learning activities as it provides an engaging and motivating medium for English learning.
