Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital-based learning media in the form of the EmoAdventure game as a means to stimulate the emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The development process follows the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation and Evaluation) model and involves validation by media experts material experts and trials with primary users namely children in early childhood education institutions. The main focus of this media is the introduction of the four basic emotions of anger fear sadness and happiness through visual audio and interactive approaches tailored to the developmental stages of early childhood. ResultsValidation results show that the EmoAdventure game achieved a feasibility rating of 93.3% from subject matter experts 96.87% from media experts and over 96% from user trials (children) on both a small and large scale. All assessments fall into the ldquo Very Feasible rdquo category. This media is proven to be visually appealing easy to operate and able to provide a fun and meaningful learning experience for children. In addition this media can be accessed offline and is compatible with various Android devices thus supporting efficient use in various learning conditions. Based on these results it can be concluded that the EmoAdventure game is a suitable learning tool for early childhood social-emotional learning. This tool helps children recognize and understand basic emotions while encouraging active engagement and increasing learning motivation. Therefore this tool is recommended for use by teachers parents and early childhood education institutions as an interactive learning alternative.
