This study aims to prove effective coaching techniques in building learning involvement of children aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten Malang City. Learning engagement is an important aspect of the early childhood learning process including cognitive emotional and behavioral engagement. However the reality is that many children have not shown optimal learning engagement. Therefore coaching techniques are chosen as a strategy that focuses on mentoring self-reflection providing positive feedback and developing individual children s potential. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of 40 children who were divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through observation and documentation then analyzed using the Mann Whitney U Test non-parametric statistical test as the data was not normally distributed. The observation instruments used included cognitive emotional and behavioral engagement indicators relevant to the characteristics of children aged 5 ndash 6 years. The level of learning involvement of children aged 5 ndash 6 years before the application of coaching techniques was in the category of sufficient to low but experienced a significant increase after being given treatment in the form of coaching techniques. Coaching techniques have proven to be effective in building children s learning engagement because they can help children recognize their potential reduce learning distractions and encourage them to be more active enthusiastic and confident in the learning process. These findings contribute to the development of learning strategies in early childhood education and can be a reference for teachers parents and researchers in optimizing early childhood development. This study recommends that coaching techniques be applied by PAUD teachers as an approach to guiding children in a reflective and positive manner. In addition parents and researchers are further expected to develop this approach in a broader context and scale.
