p This research have a purpose to explore self-acceptance in tamping prisoners entrusted with specific duties and responsibilities in prison. A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was employed to understand the subjective experiences of tamping inmates in carrying out their roles. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and member checks to ensure data validity. The study involved 5 tamping inmates as research participants. The researcher examined seven key aspects of self-acceptance feelings of equality confidence in self-abilities responsibility outward orientation having an opinion realizing limitations and accepting human nature. The findings indicate that the level of self-acceptance among tamping inmates is relatively low and needs to be improved particularly in the areas of self-confidence responsibility outward orientation firmness in principles and acceptance of human nature. This research also contributes to the understanding of self-acceptance dynamics in tamping inmates especially in relation to the social roles assigned within the prison system. These findings are expected to serve as a consideration in developing more effective rehabilitation programs that support the enhancement of self-acceptance in tamping inmates. /p
