Keyword blockchain carbon emission smart contract IPFS AWS SQS event-driven architecture web3 Climate change demands a carbon emission monitoring system that is reliable real-time and transparent. This study aims to develop a carbon emission monitoring system based on Web3 blockchain technology using a Real-time Event-Driven Architecture (REDA) approach. The proposed system integrates smart contracts InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) and a relay service to record generator emission data instantly and immutably. This research adopts the Research and Development (R amp D) method through the stages of analysis design implementation and testing. Smart contracts are used to record emission data permanently on the blockchain network while IPFS stores metadata related to the generator sets. Data from sensors is sent to AWS SQS processed by the relay service and then recorded on the blockchain. The test results indicate that the system can automatically record and store emission data in a secure and transparent manner. Evaluation was conducted through whitebox and blackbox testing along with user experience assessments using surveys. The development indicates that the system has the potential to meet aspects of reliability usability and auditability. It may serve as a promising alternative for implementation in industrial sectors especially in regions that still rely on generator sets. Furthermore the approach proposed in this study is expected to contribute to the early development of transparent and decentralized carbon emission reporting systems based on blockchain and Web3 technologies. /p
