p ABSTRACT Investment awareness among Generation Z in Dili Timor-Leste is still relatively low even though they are a productive generation with great potential as drivers of the future economy. The purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of environmental factors financial literacy and personal interest on investment awareness among Generation Z in Dili. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of individuals aged 15 to 27 years old residing in Dili City Timor-Leste. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument followed by analysis using SPSS software to determine the relationship between variables. The findings show that the three independent variables namely environment financial literacy and personal interest have a significant effect on investment awareness. Financial literacy has the most dominant impact compared to the other two variables. This confirms the importance of financial education in increasing understanding and participation in investment among the younger generation. This research plays an important role in the development of literature in Timor-Leste and can be used as a reference for the government educational institutions and financial industry players in designing strategies to increase investment awareness that are relevant to the characteristics of Generation Z. /p
