p This study aims to investigate the impact of climate change risk on the financial performance of agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research sample consists of 13 oil palm plantation sector companies listed on the IDX during the period 2018-2023. The authors selected temperature humidity rainfall and wind speed as proxies to measure climate change and ROA as a measure of the company s financial performance. This study used panel data regression analysis. Empirical results prove that rainfall has a significant positive effect on financial performance while temperature humidity and wind do not have a significant effect. The limitation of this study lies in the non-significant impact of some climate change variables which indicates the success of the company s adaptation strategies. Further research is recommended to consider additional climate factors such as soil nutrients soil quality and texture fertilization patterns and other agronomic factors. The implications of this study suggest that investors need to be aware of the vulnerability of companies that depend on natural resources to climate change. In addition investors also need to pay attention to the issue of the quality of exported palm oil products because financial performance is not only determined by productivity but also by environmental risks and global market demand. This study adds to the literature on the impact of climate change on financial performance and is the first study to specifically analyze the impact of climate change on the financial performance of agricultural companies listed on the IDX. /p
