The waste management system in Malang City has not been optimally realized. However the volume of waste continues to increase especially Used Beverage Carton (UBC ) waste from cafe activities in Malang City. This research aims to see the implementation of the concept of community-based solid waste management applied by iLitterless Indonesia as an effort to encourage a circular economy in Malang City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with data collection in the form of observation interviews and documentation. The results showed that iLitterless community-based solid waste management is packaged through various programs and services to support the waste sorting movement from the source. One of the iLitterless programs that carries the concept of community-based solid waste management based on circular economy namely Integrated Circular Waste Management System (iCOS) has an impact on cafes in Malang City. Segregated waste will be recycled by involving various recycling actors. In addition the recycling will produce valuable products as an effort to encourage a circular economy in Malang City.
