Low student motivation was identified as a significant barrier to effective geography learning among Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Blitar particularly in Class XI-I. This study aimed to improve students motivation through the implementation of a padlet based talking chips model integrated with contextualized instructional content. Conducted using Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycle based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model data were gathered via observation interviews questionnaires and documentation. The intervention emphasized equitable student participation and the use of digital tools to enhance engagement. Findings showed a steady increase in motivation indicators across the ARCS model attention relevance confidence and satisfaction. The average motivation score improved form 3.74 (pre intervention) to 3.90 after Cycle I and significantly to 4.40in Cycle II marking a 12.28% increase. Students reported greater interest contextual understanding and confidence during structured group discussions. These results confirm the effectiveness of combining cooperative learning strategies with digital platforms to support participatory and contextualized learning.
