The purpose of this research is to determine the alignment of assessments with learning objectives in motor skills material conducted by PE teachers in Malang City which is reviewed based on employment status. This research method is a descriptive quantitative survey with data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation involving 26 PE teachers with employment statuses of civil servants teachers contract-based government teacher private school sector dan honorary teachers. The analysis was conducted by comparing the alignment of difficulty levels and materials in the assessments with learning objectives in the teaching modules. The results show that only 19.23% of the assessments align with both aspects while 80.77% do not align. Specifically honorary teachers recorded the highest percentage of alignment however there is no significant relationship between employment status and the accuracy of assessment preparation. These findings indicate that employment status is not the only factor affecting the quality of assessment planning there are other factors such as motivation competence and teaching experience. Therefore improvements in teachers rsquo competence in developing valid assessments that align with learning objectives need to be carried out comprehensively and sustainably regardless of employment background.
