Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital literacy social media and internal locus of control on entrepreneurial interest in Education Study Program students Faculty of Economics and Business State University of Malang. The approach used is quantitative with explanatory method. The research sample consisted of 204 students from the Commerce Education Economics Education Office Administration Education and Accounting Education Study Programs. Data collection was done through distributing questionnaires then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results of the analysis showed that partially and simultaneously digital literacy variables (X1) social media (X2) internal locus of control (X3) had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest (Y). This study indicates that improving digital skills productive use of social media and strong self-confidence are important factors in encouraging students entrepreneurial interest. The higher the level of digital literacy the more optimal the utilization of social media and the stronger the individual s belief in control over success and failure the higher the interest in entrepreneurship in female students. This research emphasizes the importance of strengthening digital competencies strategic use of social media and developing self-confidence as an effort to foster entrepreneurial spirit among students especially in the educational environment. This research provides implications for curriculum development and entrepreneurship programs in higher education.
