Argumentation skills are very important in learning today. Argumentation skills are an ability where students are able to link events that occur around them with theories that have been learned. In this case students ability to link and think critically is very much needed. In its application argumentation skills are strongly supported by a person s reasoning and critical thinking skills in which case there are many factors that cause the level of ability of each individual to differ. One of the factors is gender differences. The purpose of this research is to describe the comparsion of levels of argumentation ability based on gender differences. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subjects used were 5 male students and 5 female students out of 34 students in one class. The results obtained from this study showed that there were differences in the level of argumentation between male and female students. Female students have a higher level of argumentation than male students.
