Abstract

Problems in chemistry learning particularly on the topic of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions were revealed through teacher interviews and direct classroom observations at MAN 1 Malang. The learning process is still dominated by conventional worksheets that are limited to text and lack conceptual visualization which contributes to students rsquo low academic performance. Students also reported difficulties in understanding the material due to the absence of supporting visualizations or simulations. In addition limited laboratory facilities and the infrequent use of practicum sessions hinder the development of students rsquo conceptual understanding. To address these issues this study aims to develop an E- LKPD assisted by Heyzine based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve student learning outcomes. The research employed the ADDIE development model limited to the Analyze Design and Develop stages including needs analysis design product development expert validation readability testing student responses and effectiveness testing through pretest and posttest. Validation results indicate that the product is highly feasible with an average score of 93.13% for the material aspect and 92.92% for the media aspect. Readability and student responses were also in the very good category at 85.33% and 87.99% respectively. The effectiveness test based on N-Gain analysis showed an improvement in student learning outcomes with a score of lt 0.719 categorized as high. Therefore the developed E-LKPD is considered feasible engaging and effective as a digital learning medium for the topic of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions
