Abstract

Practical activities have an important role in developing psychomotor skills. Chemistry practical activities are inseparable from various obstacles so that chemistry practical activities are rarely carried out. Some factors causing practical activities to be rarely carried out are the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support practical activities the lack of budget for purchasing chemical materials and consumable equipment and the existence of risks or work safety in the implementation process. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of the chemistry practical KIT with a green chemistry approach for colloidal and green chemistry materials. The research method used is the 4D development model (Define Design Develop and Disseminate) but this study is limited to the development stage. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires to obtain data related to needs expert validation and student response questionnaires. The assessment by the validation experts as a whole obtained an average result of 92.31% with a very feasible category and the assessment of student responses obtained an average result of 91.01% with a very good category. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the learning media for practical KIT with a green chemistry approach for colloidal and green chemistry materials is very suitable for use as a learning medium in the learning process.
