The study explored students' perceptions on Webtoon utilization as a media for their extensive reading activities as well as the outcomes especially at the university level in Malang East Java. A narrative inquiry design was employed in this study involving three undergraduate students from a university in Malang East Java Indonesia who had experience in using Webtoon. Qualitative data were obtained by interviewing each participant towards the topic. Data collected from participants were analyzed using the Interactive Model Data Analysis. The findings indicated that students have positive perceptions of the Webtoon highlighting its accessibility visual appeal and ease of use. The study reported high levels of engagement indicated by students' reading hours ranging around 7 to 35 hours per week highlighting Webtoons' role in integrating reading into daily routines. This study also reported appreciations to the diversity of Webtoon genres which catered to a range of interests and supported a customized reading experience. The study also found that the utilization of Webtoon improved the students' English language skills particularly vocabulary and conversational skills. The results showed that students agreed that Webtoon is considered as a valuable tool to encourage their extensive reading activities and improve language acquisition among them.
