Technological developments provide many advantages in the world of education. One of the advantages is that learning can be conducted at school or at home using digital learning one of which is Google Classroom. This research aims to determine students rsquo perception of the use of Google Classroom in online learning using a survey research design. A questionnaire and an interview guide were used to collect the research data. The respondents consisted of 125 8th semesters students of English Language Education Study Program Faculty of Letters Universitas Negeri Malang Indonesia. The determination of the respondent was based on consideration that they have experienced in teaching before. A qualitative descriptive techniques are used to analyze data from instruments that have been distributed. The findings showed that respondents have a positive and negative perception of using Google Classroom. Most of the respondents agreed that Google Classroom enhanced the learning efficiency. It enabled students to accomplish tasks quickly and saved their time. It was also accessible and user friendly. It also enabled students to obtain course materials and submit assignments easily. For it can be used frequently since it provides autonomous learning. However lecturers also need to pay attention to the challenges and obstacles such as the internet network also assignments that require more clarification and review. Considering this finding that provided students rsquo perceptions of Google Classroom the lecturer can maximize the use of Google Classroom by considering the result of this research. The result may bias and not fair for some people since there is no others rsquo perception to support it. It is better for app-builders and future research to obtain more detailed information about the challenges encountered when using Google Classroom in online learning.
