The perception held by early childhood (PAUD) teachers regarding educational tourism as a learning method can influence their attitudes and interest in using it including in planning study tours based on educational tourism. This study aims to explain the views of PAUD teachers in the Malang Raya area regarding the type of educational tourism and its relationship to interest in the field of tourism studies. This study applied a correlational quantitative method involving 120 PAUD teachers in Malang Raya as samples which were taken using cluster sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires both online and offline then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that the majority of PAUD teachers in Greater Malang have positive perceptions of educational tourism. About 67.5% of teachers reported frequently receiving information about educational tourism types and 62.5% agreed that such information was easily accessible. Additionally 51.67% strongly agreed that the information received was very useful in supporting children rsquo s learning activities. The most favored types of educational tourism were agribusiness followed by sports science and cultural tourism. The correlation test results indicated a positive relationship between PAUD teachers rsquo perceptions of educational tourism and their interest in study tours (r 0.519) which falls into the strong category. In conclusion the better the perceptions PAUD teachers have about educational tourism the higher their interest in directing study tours as a learning method. This research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers tourism developers and policymakers in designing educational tourism-based learning that is contextual and engaging for early childhood learners.
