Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of cultural literacy based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning on students learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) for the theme Community Habits Around Me in fourth-grade elementary school students. The method used is a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consists of two classes the experimental class which implements TPACK learning with a cultural literacy approach and the control class which uses convensional based on TPACK learning without a cultural literacy approach. The results show that TPACK learning based on cultural literacy has a significant impact on improving students learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the higher increase in the post-test average scores of students in the experimental class compared to those in the control class. The Independent Sample T-Test results indicate a value of 0.002 lt 0.05 meaning there is a significant difference between the two classes. The conclusion of this study is the implementation of cultural literacy based on TPACK learning can enhance students understanding and engagement in Social Studies learning providing a more meaningful learning experience.
