School academic culture is an important element in achieving educational goals. Teachers play an important role in building school academic culture as the habits and values instilled shape the character of students. Academic culture is managed through the approach applied in learning. Proper management of academic culture can create a conducive environment and encourage students enthusiasm for learning. Teachers certainly need new ideas and strategies to address student issues through learning innovation. By implementing innovation teachers can create a pleasant and effective learning atmosphere that captures students attention. Additionally strategies to foster innovation can create a comfortable environment that influences the improvement of students learning motivation as reflected in their high motivation to learn. The objectives of this study are to describe (1) the implementation of school academic culture at public junior high schools in Kediri City (2) the level of learning innovation at public junior high schools in Kediri City (3) the level of student learning motivation at public junior high schools in Kediri City (4) the influence of school academic culture on student learning motivation at public junior high schools in Kediri City (5) the influence of learning innovation on learning motivation at public junior high schools in Kediri City and (6) the simultaneous influence of school academic culture and learning innovation on the learning motivation of students at public junior high schools in Kediri City. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The population in this study consists of 8.481 students from 8 public junior high schools in Kediri City. The sampling method used in this study was proportional random sampling resulting in 382 public junior high school students in Kediri City being selected using the Slovin formula. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale. Google Forms consisting of 49 statements were used to collect data. The results of the study indicate (1) the implementation of school academic culture in public junior high schools in Kediri City is relatively high (2) the implementation of learning innovation in public junior high schools in Kediri City is relatively high (3) the implementation of student learning motivation in public junior high schools in Kediri City is relatively high (4) there is a significant influence of school academic culture on the learning motivation of students at public junior high schools in Kediri City (5) there is a significant influence of learning innovation on the learning motivation of students at public junior high schools in Kediri City (6) there is a simultaneous influence of school academic culture and learning innovation on the learning motivation of students at public junior high schools in Kediri City. Based on the research conclusions the following recommendations are suggested (1) Principals of public junior high schools in Kediri City are encouraged to provide support and maintain the implementation of school academic culture learning innovations and student learning motivation (2) Teachers at public junior high schools in Kediri City can use this as material for self-evaluation in carrying out their duties as educators by encouraging the growth of school academic culture improving learning innovation and helping to foster student learning motivation (3) Future researchers can develop further research by expanding other variables that have the potential to influence student learning motivation.
