Education is a systematic process aimed at creating a productive learning environment to enable students to develop in terms of knowledge skills norms and social environment within society. In this regard education is not merely limited to the teaching and learning process within the classroom but also encompasses all aspects of character development for students beyond the context of academic instruction. The leadership of a madrasah principal is not limited to the teaching process but also encompasses all aspects of education that need to be fulfilled. This study aims to determine (1) the strategies of the madrasah principal in implementing the Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan program at MAN 1 Malang (2) the role of the madrasah principal in improving the population literacy of MAN 1 Malang students (3) community involvement in the Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan program and its impact on literacy learning (4) the evaluation of the impact of the Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan program on students literacy awareness at MAN 1 Malang (5) the challenges and solutions in implementing the Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan Program at MAN 1 Malang (6) the synergy between the principal s policies and community involvement in the Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan program. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study design. The research location is at MAN 1 Malang. Data in this study were collected through interviews observation and documentation. The interviews were conducted using a semi-structured approach. In this interview technique the researcher selected informants using purposive sampling because they met the researcher s criteria namely being the most knowledgeable about the SSK program. Meanwhile informants four through nine were selected using snowball sampling because their names were heard and they were recommended for interviews. The data obtained were then analyzed through the stages of data collection data condensation data display and conclusion/verifying drawing. The validity of the data was tested using the credibility technique which consists of extending the research increasing persistence triangulation and member check. The results of this study are as follows (1) the principal s strategy in implementing the SSK program at MAN 1 Malang from the planning stage such as preparing annual programs forming organizational structures and integrating population material into the curriculum through teaching modules. The program is implemented through SSK cadre training strengthening population culture through women s activities during congregational prayers and competitions such as quizzes poster contests and religious talks as enjoyable forms of education. Evaluation is conducted through annual meetings and post-activity meetings to identify shortcomings for improvement solutions and other matters (2) The role of the madrasah principal in improving population literacy at the madrasah in improving the population literacy of students at MAN 1 Malang involves the active support of the madrasah principal as coordinator mentor and motivator. This role has led to improved student understanding prevention of population-related issues and increased awareness of the importance of population literacy in daily life (3) The SSK program at MAN 1 Malang is actively supported by the community and various partners. Parents are involved through parent-teacher meetings and socialization of youth issues. The DPPKB serves as a resource person the regional library provides population books and the Puskesmas and Gondanglegi Subdistrict support through health checks and social services. This collaboration is strengthened through ASIK Discussions and benchmarking studies with other schools which have led to increased student awareness of population and health issues (4) Evaluation of the SSK program at MAN 1 Malang was conducted through direct observation teacher reports and homeroom teacher guidance. The evaluation results are used to continuously improve activities adapt to current population issues and involve various stakeholders. Positive changes are beginning to emerge such as increased student awareness in planning their future and a decrease in risky behavior (5) The implementation of the SSK program at MAN 1 Malang faces challenges such as limited funding. Solutions were implemented through regular mentoring strengthening the roles of homeroom teachers SSK cadres madrasah ambassadors and the Student Council as well as adjusting schedules with the student affairs office. Innovative solutions emerged such as the remodeling of the Population Corner the educational game ldquo SIEGD CARD rdquo digital complaint services and case accompaniment for KEK. Additionally the PIK-R ldquo Al Hayyah rdquo was strengthened. These innovations enhance population literacy and address the challenges faced by the madrasah (6) synergy between the madrasah principal s policies and community involvement in The principal s leadership plays a crucial role in supporting community involvement in the SSK program at MAN 1 Malang. Various activities such as posyandu accompaniment ASIK Discussions seminars study visits and health screenings demonstrate strong synergy between the madrasah and external partners. The support of the madrasah principal and cross-sectoral collaboration are key steps toward the sustainability and success of the program. Based on the results of this study it is recommended that (1) the principal of MAN 1 Malang use this as a basis for advising madrasah principals on how to optimize the sustainability of the Population Preparedness School program by establishing broader cooperation and providing more specific support in terms of facilities infrastructure and budget (2) Teachers at MAN 1 Malang are advised to encourage students to continue expanding their population literacy knowledge through improved quality of creative and engaging teaching methods. Additionally teachers should improve their competencies by participating in relevant training programs to support the quality of population literacy education (3) students who are advised to actively participate in Population-Ready School activities to expand their knowledge foster awareness in maintaining reproductive health plan for the future and avoid risky behaviors. Furthermore students should also be enthusiastic in supporting SSK activities and disseminating population information to the broader community to optimize adolescent development (4) Head of the Population Control and Family Planning Agency (DPPKB) and Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency in the field of education The Head of the Population Control and Family Planning Agency (DPPKB) and the Head of the Ministry of Religion for Education in Malang Regency are advised to strengthen policy synergy between population programs and education particularly in supporting the sustainability of the Population-Ready School (SSK). This effort can be realized through regular assistance to madrasahs in the form of periodic socialization and checking population data so that it is always relevant each year as well as providing periodic training for teachers and madrasah principals related to population literacy adolescent reproductive health and contextual learning strategies which also need to be improved to strengthen implementation capacity in the field. (5) Researchers Furthermore the researchers hope that the results of this study can serve as a reference for future research. If the same research is conducted subsequent researchers are advised to improve upon existing shortcomings particularly by deepening the study of leadership strategies from both process and outcome perspectives. Additionally future research may also consider using a quantitative approach if necessary so that the findings obtained are more comprehensive.
