p Introduction TB and DM are chronic diseases that are interrelated and constitute a double burden globally especially 80% in TB endemic countries with low income. A person will be at 1.5 to 7.8 times the risk of developing TB if they suffer from diabetes mellitus. Type 2 TB-DM sufferers have a lower chance of successful treatment than TB sufferers without DM. In Batu City the success rate of TB treatment in type 2 TB-DM sufferers will fluctuate from 2021 to 2023. There are several factors that can influence the success of TB treatment in type 2 TB-DM sufferers. This study aims to determine the influence of age gender occupation type of DM therapy and duration of TB treatment on the success of TB treatment in type 2 TB-DM sufferers. Methods This research is a quantitative study using an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in Batu City by collecting data using secondary data from the Sistem Informasi Tuberkulosis (SITB) of the Batu City Health Service for 2021-2023. Analysis of research data used analysis with the Fisher exact test. The sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling technique Results The results of the study showed that only the type of DM therapy factor had an influence on the success of TB treatment in TB-DM type 2 sufferers in the Batu City area. Meanwhile age gender occupation and duration of TB treatment factors do not influence the success of TB treatment in TB-DM type 2 sufferers in the Batu City area. /p
