p Studi purpose. This study aims to determine the effect of overhead band triceps extension and chest press exercises using resistance bands on arm muscle strength and coordination for volleyball smashes. Materials and methods. This study used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest experimental design in a single group this study involved 15 volleyball athletes aged 15-18 years who were selected by purposive sampling. The instruments used included the Push Up test and the Plate Tapping test. The resistance band training program was carried out for 8 weeks with a frequency of 2-3 times per week. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed using a paired t-test with the help of the SPSS 25 application to evaluate the changes that occurred after the treatment. Results. The paired t-test showed a significance value of lt 0.001 which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted indicating that resistance band training has a positive effect on smash strength and coordination in volleyball athletes. Conclusions. Based on the research that has been conducted on female volleyball athletes from PBVSI Batu City it can be concluded from the results of this study that there is an effect of resistance band training with overhead triceps extension and chest press movements on the strength and coordination of volleyball athletes smashes. /p
