p Reinforced concrete beams are not free from structural damage. Structural damage to reinforced concrete beams that occurs suddenly can be dangerous for building occupants. There are many methods in repairing or strengthening the beam structure including using the deep embedment method and the near-surface mounted method. This study uses deep embedment and near-surface mounted methods that work together to determine the stress strain deflection and crack pattern in the beam. This study used 10 beam models that were analyzed using Abaqus CAE software and then compared the control beam with the reinforced beam. The design at of this research begins with modeling the beam in Abaqus CAE software with a loading method using two point loads then a convergence test is carried out through a meshing size of 25 mm to 75 mm to find out the convergent beam model . Then data related to the research objectives were taken. The results showed that the reinforced beam in the compressive area decreased in strain by 42.49% and increased in stress by 3.24%. The reinforced beam in the tensile area increased the strain by 25.37% and decreased the stress by 3.30%. In addition it reduces the deflection of the reinforced beam by 2.02% to 9.74%. And the crack pattern that occurs in the reinforced beam and the control beam is not much different but each reinforced beam is able to withstand a greater ultimate load than the control beam. /p
